DDNS with enom - cannot enter username

Postby kyorin » Wed Sep 02, 2015 11:50 am

I would like to use directupdate with enom's ddns service, but when trying to set it up, after selecting enom from the drop-down list, the username field is greyed out. I need to be able to input username AND password to use the service.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Kyorin,

Using eNom, you do not specify your enom login/password during a dynamic update request.
You only enter your domain password (in the "password" field).

More info on "domain password" from eNom web site:
"The domain needs to have a password added for security. You'll find that setting in the General Settings area of the domain control panel."

Hope that helps.
